I made a cup of tea for someone's soul.

I was annoyed at someone for asking me to make them a cup of tea. I was making one for myself so normally it would be a natural thing to offer a cup to someone else. In this instance I was carrying an annoyance from somewhere else into the present moment. My annoyance was not at the request but at something much deeper. A common misperception we all make that we are angry or frustrated at the situation that's in front of us.
Fortunately on this particular day and in this particular moment I caught it. I saw myself and I saw my soul. I stepped outside of myself and allowed my soul that was not annoyed and was not harmed to make that cup of tea. To the visible world nothing looked any different. I went on to make the most perfect cup of tea. The “i” that was annoyed was not there during this process. The person I made it for was still saying and doing what they were before. No change. The invisible realm was as it should be, hidden from the visible world. I took that cup of tea and placed it on the table with a smile from deep within and gave it to their soul. One soul to another. No acknowledgement bigger than a thank you for the cup of tea was given in the material world. But our souls knew what we had both done. An unseen transaction that changed the world, all from a seemingly mundane cup of tea.
